Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) is the Department of Energy's (DOE) Tank Operations Contractor responsible for managing the Hanford Site's 56 million gallons of highly radioactive waste and preparing it for delivery to the Waste Treatment Plant (WTP). WRPS is committed to the safe and efficient management, retrieval and treatment of Hanford's radioactive and hazardous tank waste to protect the nearby Columbia River and surrounding environment.

While outreach and enrollment funding provided through the Affordable Care Act has led to a significant decrease in the total number of uninsured individuals, a large number of Utah’s children remain uninsured. The Association for Utah Community Health (AUCH), in partnership with community based organizations across the state, is targeting outreach and offering one-to-one child and family enrollment assistance to increase the number of insured families and children in Utah.

The Southeast Utah Health Department (SEUHD) is currently recruiting applicants to fill the position of Health Officer/Executive Director of the SEUHD, serving Carbon, Emery and Grand Counties.  Headquarter offices are located in Price, Utah and applicants must reside in Carbon County or be willing to re-locate to Carbon County within 60 days of date of hire.  Applicants must have a valid driver license and be willing and able to travel between SEUHD offices within Carbon, Emery and Grand counties.  Applicants must either be (1) board certified to practice medicine in the state of Utah in preventive medicine or in a primary care specialty, or (2) must have a master’s degree in public health, nursing, or other health discipline related to public health, public administration or business administration with at least five years of professional full-time experience in the practice of public health, of which three of those years must be in a senior administrative capacity.
